VPS & Server Usage Policy

1. Managed and unmanaged VPS

• Managed VPS (6 months or 1 year): our team sets up and looks after the server — operating system updates and security.
• Unmanaged VPS (1, 3, 6 or 12 months): you get the root password and full control. You install, update, secure and back up the server yourself. We help only with the network and the hardware.

2. Not allowed

• Anything illegal under the law of Bangladesh or of the country where the server is located.
• Hacking, breaking into other systems, port or vulnerability scanning of networks you do not own, and DDoS attacks.
• Phishing pages, malware, viruses, botnets or command-and-control servers.
• Spam: bulk email without the receivers’ permission.
• Pirated software, films, music or other content you have no right to share.
• Child sexual abuse material — reported to the authorities at once.
• Fraud, scams, fake shops, or selling illegal goods.
• Crypto mining or other use that overloads a shared server or network (allowed only on a dedicated server, with our written OK).

3. What happens if a rule is broken

If we find illegal use, or receive a valid abuse report, we suspend the server right away, without notice, to protect our network and other customers. For smaller problems we first ask you to fix it.

No refund is given for a server suspended or closed because of illegal use. We work with law enforcement when the law requires it.

4. Your responsibilities

• Keep your root password safe and use strong passwords. Change the first password we send you.
• On an unmanaged VPS, keep the system updated and keep your own backups.
• Everything that happens on your server is your responsibility, including what your users or students do on it.

5. Report abuse
